Qualifications

  • Significant hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS cloud services.
  • AWS Professional and/or Associate certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures.
  • Experience in cost optimisation and familiarity with cloud best practices.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics solutions and AI/ML-driven approaches.
  • Proficiency in designing application workloads using serverless, containerised, microservices patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Deep knowledge of identity, access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Understanding of integration patterns and APIs/hybrid connectivity.
  • Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AWS workloads using serverless, containerised, and microservices architectures.

  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to support rapid delivery.
  • Apply cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance controls.
  • Optimise architectures for scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Produce high-quality design documentation and contribute to architecture reviews.
  • Execute testing strategies for functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability).
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver robust, cloud-first solutions.

In your role as a Specialist /Consultant you will:

Experience

Certification & Education

Business Architecture
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures.
  • Experience in cost optimisation and familiarity with cloud best practices.
Data & AI Architecture
  • Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics solutions.
  • Experience designing AI/ML‑driven solutions and data lifecycle management.
Application Architecture
  • Proficiency in designing application workloads using modern cloud patterns (e.g., serverless, containerised, microservices).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Security Architecture
  • Deep knowledge of identity, access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to implement security best practices across cloud environments.
Integration Architecture
  • Understanding of integration patterns and event‑driven architectures.
  • Ability to design APIs and hybrid connectivity solutions.
Non‑Functional Requirements
