Job summary

HelloKindred in Weybridge is seeking a Solutions Architect with deep AWS/serverless expertise to lead end-to-end design and delivery of scalable, secure enterprise solutions. You will contribute hands-on architecture work, drive governance, and produce comprehensive technical artefacts and security assessments.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in enterprise solution delivery, strong stakeholder management, and experience using modern AI-based coding tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and enterprise solution delivery.
• At least 5 years in solution architecture for large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Extensive AWS/serverless expertise and modern AI-based coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design translating business requirements into scalable enterprise solutions.
• Design AWS/serverless architectures using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3 and related services.
• Contribute hands-on architecture, code reviews, and governance as needed.
• Apply Node.js and TypeScript with modern software engineering practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Produce artefacts and documentation including solution designs and security assessments.
• Deliver executive-level technical presentations on architecture decisions.
• Engage stakeholders and senior leadership to drive delivery.
• Establish architectural standards and governance across development teams.
• Ensure security, operational and enterprise-architecture compliance.
• Support cloud transformation and application modernization initiatives.
