This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who is passionate about designing scalable, cloud-native solutions and helping clients solve complex business challenges through modern integration and event-driven architectures. Working as a trusted advisor, you will consult with purpose, continuously evolve your expertise, and help architect tomorrow's solutions while contributing to a future-ready, AI-aware workforce. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver measurable outcomes, drive innovation, and create lasting value for our clients

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions that meet business, operational, and integration requirements.
  • Lead the definition of solution architectures that support reliable, secure, and high-performing services.
  • Build and enhance serverless processing capabilities to enable efficient handling of business-critical data and events.
  • Create robust API and service integration solutions that support seamless data exchange across enterprise platforms.
  • Design and implement event-driven architectures that enable responsive, resilient, and loosely coupled systems.
  • Define data storage and persistence approaches that balance scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solution designs.
  • Promote engineering excellence through architecture governance, design best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Support delivery teams in resolving complex technical challenges and ensuring successful solution outcomes.
  • Champion innovation, continuous learning, and awareness of AI-enabled approaches that improve delivery effectiveness and help build a future-ready workforce.
Good to Have Skills
  • AWS Solution Architect certification or other relevant cloud certifications.
  • Experience designing and delivering serverless architectures using AWS services.
  • Knowledge of event streaming and messaging frameworks, including NATS JetStream.
  • Experience with RESTful service design and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and DynamoDB.
  • Understanding of secure architecture principles and modern cloud governance practices.
  • Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development, architecture, or productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, resilience patterns, and scalable application design.
  • Experience operating within Agile product and delivery environments.
