About The Role

As a Senior AWS Platform Engineer and Cloud Consultant, you will guide our customers in their cloud and DevOps journey. Your expertise in cloud technologies and best practices will be crucial in architecting, implementing, and optimizing solutions tailored to client needs. You will collaborate across teams to innovate and deliver exceptional value.

  3. Leadership Final Interview
Security Clearance Requirements

You must hold an active SC clearance or be eligible for one, with the following criteria:

  • British Passport or ILR
  • Resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years
  • No criminal records
  • No financial irregularities

About you

You should be passionate about new technology and automation, experienced in engineering teams, and familiar with Agile and DevOps practices. You should be able to discuss:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical ability
  • Understanding industry best practices
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including motivating teams
Responsibilities
  • Assess client infrastructure and develop tailored cloud and DevOps strategies
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions
  • Develop deployment pipelines using Terraform and GitHub Actions
  • Manage onboarding of new platforms and applications
  • Assist teams in architecting or transforming applications to cloud-native
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and security enhancements
  • Create reusable deployment patterns and templates
  • Build and maintain a centralized platform for product teams in AWS
  • Establish best practices, especially around microservices architecture
  • Operate complex tooling like Kubernetes, Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
  • Upskill clients to increase platform adoption
  • Improve operational reliability and scalability
  • Prototype new ideas, balancing technical and product needs
  • Streamline operations through automation
  • Enhance operational visibility and team knowledge sharing
  • Enable self-service capabilities for developers
