Job summary

Multinational Company in London is seeking an AWS Security Cloud Consultant with 10+ years of experience to design and secure large-scale cloud environments. The role emphasizes edge protection, bot mitigation, and API security across enterprise pipelines.

You will deploy WAF and CloudFront, craft IaC templates with CDK/ Terraform/ CloudFormation, and build real-time log pipelines and dashboards to monitor traffic and cost. Collaboration with Security, SRE, and Platform teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security and AWS.
• Proven expertise in edge security, bot mitigation and API protection.

Responsibilities

• Edge Protection & Bot Mitigation: Deploy layered AWS WAF and CloudFront architectures with rate limiting, managed rules, and optimized edge caching.
• IaC & CI/CD: Develop reusable deployment templates and runbooks using AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation within enterprise pipelines.
• Observability & Analytics: Build real-time log pipelines and dashboards to analyze traffic and cost impact.
• Threat Detection & AI Automation: Profile API traffic and fingerprinting signals to refine bot models; build automated response workflows with guardrails.
• Stakeholder Delivery: Collaborate across Security, SRE, and Platform teams to deliver evidence packs for executive reviews.

• Edge Protection & Bot Mitigation: Deploy layered AWS WAF and CloudFront architectures with rate limiting, managed rules, and optimized edge caching.
• IaC & CI/CD: Develop reusable deployment templates and runbooks using AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation within enterprise pipelines.
• Observability & Analytics: Build real-time log pipelines (WAF Logs rightarrow Firehose rightarrow S3 rightarrow Athena) and operational dashboards to analyze traffic and cost impact.
• Threat Detection & AI Automation: Profile API traffic and fingerprinting signals to refine bot models; build automated response workflows with kill-switch guardrails.
• Stakeholder Delivery: Collaborate across Security, SRE, and Platform teams to deliver evidence packs and executive decision-gate reviews.
