Job summary

AWS Security Consultant role for UK-based enterprise clients, delivering hands-on security engagements and deploying AWS-native controls to build secure cloud environments. You’ll join a dedicated AWS security team on complex transformation projects from day one.

Responsibilities include configuring GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, CloudTrail, KMS, securing VPCs, and using Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK. Python automation with Lambda and CI/CD integration are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty is essential.
• Strong hands-on AWS security implementation experience.
• Experience with IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, CloudTrail and KMS.
• IaC experience using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement AWS security controls across enterprise environments.
• Configure and deploy GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, CloudTrail and KMS.
• Secure AWS networking with VPCs, Security Groups and NACLs.
• Build and deploy security solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Develop automation using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
• Configure WAF, Shield and Cognito where required.
• Work with customers and stakeholders to deliver secure AWS solutions.
