About the role

We are seeking an experienced person in AWS financial operations in a distributor or reseller environment. This includes the range of financial processes for an AWS reseller Partner starting with sales through to provisioning, incentives, bill rendering, reconciliation and more.

On a typical day in AWS Reseller Financial Operations, you will:
  • Be responsible for AWS FinOps with our distributors (such as Crayon, Ingram, Redington and Arrow) including collecting invoices, reconciling them by customer and calculating discounts.
  • Be responsible for AWS billing to our customers including calculating discounts, rendering invoices, tracking payments and credit and addressing questions or issues.
  • Configuring and managing AWS payer accounts across distributors and customer types.
  • Work on customer operational requests such as AWS account closures or billing queries.
  • Claim, track, and reconcile AWS partner incentives such as CEI, POD and POC with our distributors and in the AWS Partner portal.
  • Manage the AWS Partner Portal for financial processes that involve opportunities, attribution and incentives.
  • Work with distributor portals such as Arrow Arrowsphere, Ingram Xvantage and Crayon CloudIQ for provisioning, customer account updates, consumption tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Raise and resolve tickets with distributors or AWS as needed to resolve events such as missed incentive attribution, usage spikes and credit notes.
  • Monitor and manage usage-based customer thresholds to mitigate risk
Desired profile
  • 2+ years of experience in financial operations and/or provisioning of AWS through distributors such as Arrow, Crayon, Redington or Ingram.
  • Strong operational understanding of AWS reseller configuration of payer accounts, MOR and related core AWS reseller activities.
  • Experience working with the AWS Partner Portal and claiming CEI, POD, POC and other AWS incentives.
  • Familiarity with AWS through distributor portals such as Arrow ArrowSphere, Ingram Xvantage, and Crayon CloudIQ.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
