Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in managing, configuring, and maintaining cloud-based systems and infrastructure, focusing on AWS Cloud.
2. Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, improving system efficiency.
3. Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
4. Monitor platform and cloud performance proactively, addressing issues to ensure system uptime and availability.
5. Ensure secure and compliant infrastructure and data management practices.
6. Participate in backup procedures and disaster recovery testing.
7. Stay updated with cloud technology developments and incorporate relevant innovations.
8. Document procedures and configurations for knowledge sharing.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to external stakeholders.
10. Oversee responsibilities of Junior Platform Engineer, including software installation, hardware support, CI/CD pipeline management, and infrastructure support using Terraform, Bash, or Python.
11. Maintain a solid understanding of cloud platforms, networking, security, and scripting.

Minimum Requirements:

• AWS Associate-level certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with backup strategies, snapshots, disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Linux OS.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure and networking.
• Familiarity with git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Understanding of networking, security, and database management.
• Knowledge of security technologies and compliance standards (ISO27001, SSL/TLS, SSH).
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms like ELK stack, DataDog, Logz.io.
