Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Forward Deployed Product Engineer who will sit at the crossroads of customers, product and engineering, translating real-world needs into scalable, commercially valuable solutions. You will work directly with customers to understand goals, convert requirements into product and engineering challenges, and influence how the core platform evolves.

This is the first role of its kind in the UK team, offering substantial influence and opportunities to shape future

Qualifications

Strong AWS experience and an AWS certification.
Experience in a customer-facing environment.
Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and asking the right questions.
Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly.
Genuine interest in AI and its impact on products and customers.
Ambitious to go beyond a standard engineering role.

Responsibilities

Translate customer questions and requirements into clear product and engineering problems.
Work with customers to uncover what they are really trying to achieve.
Assess how new requirements can be supported by the existing platform.
Identify which requests should become part of the broader product.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Account Management to deliver strong, commercially viable outcomes.
Present technical concepts clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
