AWS Migration Consultant – Outside IR35 Contract

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Bristol - Hybrid. You'll need to spend significant time on-site during the first two weeks, with occasional or once-a-week on-site presence thereafter.
  • Interview Process: One-stage interview over teams – technical conversation

The Role:

As a Migration Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in our migration efforts. This isn't just about moving data; it's about strategic planning, robust engineering, and ensuring a seamless transition.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the end-to-end migration journey.
  • Applying strong engineering skills with a focus on DevOps practices, including expertise in GitLab and Terraform.
  • Leveraging your experience with AWS and Windows environments.
  • Conducting technical assessments, contributing to design and strategy, and shaping architecture.
  • Addressing security considerations, risks, and technical debt (capture and mitigation).
  • Developing comprehensive cut-over plans and defining the business support model.
