Job summary

Iglu.com in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with an AWS focus to design, secure and automate our cloud infrastructure. You will own projects end-to-end, from discovery to production handover, collaborating with development, security and wider business teams.

Key duties include managing EC2, ECS, Fargate, S3 and RDS, implementing CSPM with Snyk, supporting CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy) and IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience in AWS environments with practical problem solving.
• Proactive and able to work autonomously while collaborating with teams.
• Experience implementing AWS Control Tower, Landing Zones and cloud security controls.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix; exposure to Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET) is a plus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting (Python or Bash).

Responsibilities

• Design, secure, and automate AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS).
• Establish and evolve AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones architectures.
• Perform CSPM and vulnerability management using Snyk and AWS security services.
• Own infrastructure projects end-to-end from discovery to production handover.
• Support CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity and Octopus Deploy) for deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize web stack.
• Occasionally perform out-of-hours maintenance with minimal business impact.
