Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale digital services within a complex cloud environment. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimising AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience deploying and supporting AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with multi-environment AWS setups.
• Strong CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Experience with modern architectures (React front-end, microservices, serverless, Kafka).
• IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of AWS networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• IAM, MFA, security controls administration.
• API management with Kong Enterprise.
• FinOps governance and resource tagging experience.
• Experience in Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Setup, configure, and manage AWS environments across dev/test/stage/prod.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage AWS infrastructure for React front-ends, microservices, Lambda, Kafka.
• Integrate ETL and RPA processes.
• Implement secure networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Manage IAM/MFA permissions for development teams.
• Tag and govern resources per FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability, reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployments.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices.
• Support WCAG 2.2 AAA accessibility alignment.
