Job summary

Sanderson Government and Defence is seeking a highly skilled data engineering lead to join our secure data and cloud infrastructure team in the UK. You will build and optimize data pipelines, model data structures, and leverage AWS services to support real-time analytics for government clients.

Requirements include strong Python scripting, experience with test-driven development, and familiarity with Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, Athena, and Glue.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python or an equivalent scripting language.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery.
• Must hold or be eligible for enhanced DV Security Clearance.
• Must hold sole British nationality.
