Job summary

Nigel Frank is recruiting an experienced AWS Data Architect for its Technology Consulting practice in the UK. The role focuses on defining architecture strategy, leading data, analytics and AI platforms, and guiding delivery across regulated and public sector environments.

The candidate will work with senior stakeholders, engineering teams and business leaders to unlock value from data while ensuring secure, resilient and future-ready solutions. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in data, analytics or AI architecture.
• Strong expertise across AWS data and analytics services.
• Experience designing both batch and real‑time data processing.
• Knowledge of modern cloud architecture patterns including APIs and microservices.
• Experience implementing machine learning, Generative AI and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑scale AWS data and analytics architectures.
• Lead delivery of cloud‑native data platforms across the full data lifecycle.
• Integrate ML, Generative AI and LLM capabilities into business solutions.
• Define data governance, security and architecture standards.
• Advise senior stakeholders on technology strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams of architects and engineers.
