Job summary

Nigel Frank is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to join its Technology Consulting practice in the United Kingdom. You will define architecture strategy, lead delivery of scalable data and analytics platforms, and work with senior stakeholders to shape enterprise data solutions on cloud-native AWS services.

You’ll design enterprise architectures, oversee data governance and security, mentor teams, and drive ML/Generative AI integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience in data, analytics or AI architecture.
• Strong expertise across AWS data and analytics services.
• Experience designing both batch and real-time data processing solutions.
• Knowledge of modern cloud architecture patterns including APIs and microservices.
• Experience implementing machine learning, Generative AI and AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale AWS data and analytics architectures.
• Lead the delivery of cloud-native data platforms across the full data lifecycle.
• Integrate machine learning, Generative AI and large language model capabilities into business solutions.
• Define data governance, security and architecture standards.
• Advise senior stakeholders on technology strategy and roadmap development.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams of architects and engineers.
