Job summary

OpenTalent in London is seeking an experienced DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable cloud-native infrastructure in AWS, with a focus on IaC, CI/CD, and observability.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform, strengthen IAM and security, and collaborate with engineering to improve reliability and performance across enterprise-grade platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and security best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to design and operate scalable cloud platforms.
• Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and release automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
• Ensure secure cloud operations with strong IAM and access controls.
• Build and maintain scalable, resilient platforms and services.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery.
• Automate environment provisioning and release processes.
• Improve observability with logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring.
• Support incident management and platform reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed DevOps and cloud-native practices.
