AWS Cloud Engineer (Windows, Terraform) – Software – Remote
Day rate: £400 – £600 (inside IR35)

My client is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Windows environments and Infrastructure as Code to join our software team on a 4-month fully remote contract.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS
2. Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Terraform
3. Manage and support Windows Server instances in the cloud
4. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and administrative tasks
5. Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory in a hybrid or cloud-native environment
6. Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure infrastructure meets business needs and compliance standards
7. Document infrastructure and operational processes

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Solid hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
2. Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration
3. Proven experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
4. Proficient in PowerShell scripting
5. Experience managing Active Directory, including group policies and domain services
