Job summary

Accenture in Birmingham seeks an AWS Tech Architecture Specialist to design and deliver cloud-first solutions for tier-1 clients. You will design and implement AWS workloads, develop scalable apps, and optimise performance, security and cost efficiency.

The role requires hands-on AWS experience, professional certifications, and translating business needs into robust cloud architectures while collaborating onsite with clients across industries.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS-based solutions.
• AWS Professional and/or Associate certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS workloads using modern cloud patterns (serverless, containerised, microservices).
• Develop scalable application solutions aligned with best practice for performance, resilience and cost efficiency.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to support rapid delivery.
• Apply cloud security principles including IAM, encryption and compliance controls.
• Produce high-quality design documentation and contribute to architecture reviews.
