Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Specialist Analytics Solution Architect for the Global Financial Services team, focusing on tier-one financial institutions across EMEA/APJ. You will design cloud-based data and analytics architectures that address regulatory, data sovereignty, and operational resilience at enterprise scale.

In this role you’ll translate complex challenges into scalable cloud solutions, working with sales, account teams, and product groups to shape transformative roadmaps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
• Preferred: AWS analytics tools and cloud data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor for analytics and data strategy across major Global Financial Services accounts in EMEA/APJ.
• Design cloud-based data and analytics architectures addressing regulatory, data sovereignty, and resilience requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, account managers, and specialist SA communities to shape long-term technical strategies.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to translate technical concepts into business recommendations.
• Develop reference architectures, best practice guidance, and reusable assets for analytics in financial services.
• Create thought leadership content demonstrating expertise in analytics and cloud modernization for financial services.
• Influence roadmap priorities with global specialist peers and product teams.
• Stay current on trends in data analytics, AI/ML, and financial services technology.
