Job summary

Construction in London is seeking a Senior AWS AgentCore Architect for a 6-month contract (Inside IR35) with hybrid working (3 days onsite) in the banking sector. You will lead the build-out of an agentic AI platform, providing architectural direction and hands-on implementation.

You must be a senior, hands-on architect with a strong AWS background, deep Bedrock AgentCore knowledge, and the ability to define enterprise-grade patterns.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Senior AWS AgentCore Architect to join on a contract basis and provide experienced architectural leadership for the build-out of an agentic AI platform.

You need to be a genuinely senior, hands-on architect who can take ownership quickly and provide technical direction rather than someone who has only worked around GenAI at a high level.

What we need

Must have

• Strong AWS architecture background
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI / AI agent platforms on AWS
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore / Bedrock ecosystem
• Able to define architecture and technical patterns for enterprise-grade agentic solutions
• Strong understanding of LLMs, agent orchestration, APIs, integration and security
• Senior enough to provide architectural leadership but still comfortable being hands-on
• Comfortable stepping into an existing programme and taking ownership quickly

Highly desirable

• Retail or Commercial Banking experience
• Experience delivering GenAI/agentic platforms within a regulated enterprise
• Understanding of governance, security, observability and controls around enterprise AI
