Job summary

Arm, London-based, is seeking aSenior AWS AgentCore Architect for a 6-month contract. Hybrid work (3 days onsite) in London, Inside IR35, paying up to £750 per day. You will lead the architecture and hands-on delivery for an agentic AI platform in the banking/regulated sector.

The role requires senior architectural leadership with hands-on capability, strong Bedrock/AWS knowledge, and expertise in LLMs, orchestration, APIs, and security. Banking domain experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS architecture background.
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI platforms on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Bedrock AgentCore / Bedrock ecosystem.
• Able to define architecture and technical patterns for enterprise-grade agentic solutions.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, agent orchestration, APIs, integration and security.
• Senior enough to provide architectural leadership but still hands-on.
• Comfortable stepping into an existing programme and taking ownership quickly.

We are looking for a Senior AWS AgentCore Architect to join on a contract basis and provide experienced architectural leadership for the build-out of an agentic AI platform.

You need to be a genuinely senior, hands-on architect who can take ownership quickly and provide technical direction rather than someone who has only worked around GenAI at a high level.

What we need

Must have

• Strong AWS architecture background
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI / AI agent platforms on AWS
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore / Bedrock ecosystem
• Able to define architecture and technical patterns for enterprise-grade agentic solutions
• Strong understanding of LLMs, agent orchestration, APIs, integration and security
• Senior enough to provide architectural leadership but still comfortable being hands-on
• Comfortable stepping into an existing programme and taking ownership quickly

Highly desirable

• Retail or Commercial Banking experience
• Experience delivering GenAI/agentic platforms within a regulated enterprise
• Understanding of governance, security, observability and controls around enterprise AI
