About The Role

If you’d like to support your local community by helping to ensure that people who are worried about or affected by dementia are aware of the support and advice services we offer, we have just the role for you!

You’ll support local events, hold information stands, and display leaflets in venues like libraries and GP surgeries. You’ll ensure that the information shared is up to date and accurate. You’ll also establish connections with local organisations and community groups to promote awareness of our support services. As a representative of Alzheimer's Society, we will provide branded clothing, and you may be featured in event photos to showcase our work in the media.

This role aims to increase our reach in Sheffield by raising awareness about Alzheimer’s Society services in the area. You will complete your training at home and represent the society at local events and forums.

Ideally, we are looking for two volunteers who can work together, attend local events, and manage information stands.
