Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant for Esher Manor Care Home in Esher, Surrey. You will deliver high standards of personal care and work with the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

No prior experience required as a thorough induction and training programme is provided. You should communicate effectively, be respectful, and be flexible to cover a range of duties at short notice.

A DBS check will be carried out and the cost covered by Avery.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards the residents and other people in the home.
• Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
• Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, infections) and escalate risks promptly.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
