AVP/VP Client Operations Specialist

London

This is a great opportunity to join Delta Capita's fast-growing Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Services Business, working with some of the world's leading financial institutions.

Our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Services provides end-to-end capabilities to help organizations optimize the management of their client lifecycle. Our CLM team combines extensive experience with domain expertise in delivering client onboarding, supported by an ecosystem of proprietary technology accelerator solutions.

We are seeking an experienced AVP Client Operations Specialist to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Managed Service Business.

Your role

Are you a highly motivated individual with strong work ethics, seeking a challenging role in a dynamic environment? Do you have an aptitude for understanding complex business rules and thinking on your feet? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience?

Responsibilities:

  • Inputting data attributes into internal systems, including SSIs, Markets, Portfolio Managers, and Regulatory fields, in relevant trading and electronic trading systems.
  • Ensuring business requirements are fulfilled within strict timeframes.
  • Managing projects related to onboarding and migration for large mandates and fund portfolios, including gathering client specifications, setting up data in trade capture and e-trading systems, business readiness testing, and production go-live.
  • Connecting with third parties such as SWIFT, custodians, external managers, and accounting agents.
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Communicating with sales representatives, clients, brokers, and custodians to address queries promptly.
  • Handling escalations from sales and clients, providing solutions and guidance.
  • Engaging proactively with stakeholders to advise on issue resolution, client reporting, capacity, and risks.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline operations and improve the client journey.
  • Assisting in defining procedures, processes, standards, and best practices for efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Producing key MI reports to monitor and communicate metrics internally and externally.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Client Onboarding, Sales Support, Trade Support, Pre-Trade Management, Account Opening, eTrading, Connectivity, and Client Services within Front Office Investment Banking/Asset Management and regulatory environments.
  • Understanding of the Client and Trade Lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of trading instruments such as FX, Futures, OTC Derivatives, and Collateral.
  • Experience dealing with broker and custodian setups.
  • Strong risk management awareness and attention to detail.
  • Experience in Investment Banking, Global Markets, or Asset Management.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Visio or Smartsheet is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of Funds.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Aladdin is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree (2:1 or equivalent).
