Join our dynamic Technology team as an AVP - Java Fullstack Engineer at Barclays Business Banking. Be involved in shaping the future of financial crime prevention through the "Integrated financial crime program," a multiyear initiative aimed at strengthening compliance, streamlining client interactions, and driving operational efficiency with cutting-edge technology.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Java Fullstack Engineer with a passion for transitioning into architecture and applying technical expertise to strategic system design.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in full-stack development, building dynamic, responsive, and reusable components
• Experience with Enterprise Case Management applications, backend builds in Java or C++
• Knowledge of Kafka or other message brokers
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices with Java Spring Boot, and a strong understanding of Spring Framework
• Strong knowledge of state management (e.g., Redux, Context API) and React hooks, with experience integrating frontend and backend services

Valued Skills:

• Understanding of Camunda BPM and BPMN 2.0
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library
