Job summary

Chubb seeks an AVP, Internal Audit to direct high-quality audit coverage across financial, operational and regulatory risk. You will lead multiple engagements, supervise staff, and shape the audit strategy aligned with the Internal Audit Charter.

You will oversee planning, fieldwork and reporting, develop risk assessments and build strong relationships with business management, regulators and external auditors. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including 3 years of managerial experience.
• Experience within internal audit, or risk & compliance in insurance; or insurance-focused audit in professional services.
• Proven track record of managing multiple audit engagements end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodologies and IIA Standards.
• Knowledge of Solvency II, Lloyd's, PRA/FCA or local regulators.

Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate resources, oversee and deliver audit projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct and report on advisory reviews and fraud investigations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with senior management, regulators and external auditors.
• Support annual risk assessment and maintenance of the audit universe.
• Prepare periodic reports on audit plan status and findings for governance committees.
• Promote AI, data analytics, continuous auditing and automation in audits.
• Coordinate with first and second line functions.
• Provide advisory support on risk, controls and regulatory matters.
• Supervise, coach and develop audit staff.
