Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Oversight: Oversee product control operations for the commodities portfolio, ensuring precision in financial reporting, margin analysis, and valuation adjustments.
• Collaborative Analysis: Work closely with trading, risk management, and finance teams to validate P&L discrepancies, streamline processes, and enhance control frameworks.
• Strategic Insight: Provide detailed, actionable analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead junior team members, helping to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Experience: Significant experience in commodities product control within a major financial institution.
• Technical Expertise: A solid grasp of financial instruments, derivatives, and commodities trading processes.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional numerical and analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data.
• Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across diverse teams.
• Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CFA) are highly desirable.
