Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Lead the development and maintenance of base and trend assumptions (Terms of Trade)
• Scale the capabilities of the team through improving processes and cultivating talent
• Build strong working relationships with other teams in the business
• Support the development of wider research capabilities, including promoting time dedicated to research

Qualifications required:

• Qualified Fellow of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries or similar organization with 4+ years post-qualified experience

Experience required:

• Exposure to basis development with reinsurers, life companies, or consultancies, either through direct work in pricing or review functions
• Good understanding of the Longevity or Protection insurance/reinsurance markets
• Interest in programming; comfortable with or willing to learn software such as Tableau, SQL, and R
