To repair and overhaul a wide range of aircraft Communications, Navigation, Radar, Radio Audio units, Recorders, and Instruments to component level. This role requires working with technologies ranging from analogue electronics to complex microprocessor electronics and RF circuits.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Undertake precise mechanical work and electronics repair, including through-hole and surface-mounted components.
2. Complete fault finding, repair, and testing processes using specialised and general-purpose test equipment.
3. Work in accordance with the manufacturer’s component maintenance manual, regulatory approvals, and the company’s quality system.
4. Maintain accurate and legible repair records, ensuring timely filing.
5. Maintain quality and cost-effectiveness, ensuring safety standards are met.

7. Undertake cross-training in other technical areas as required by the business.

• Support additional reasonable requests from managers or directors.
