Job summary

TEKEVER in the UK is seeking graduates in electrical/electronic/mechatronic or systems engineering to join a fast-paced, defence-focused engineering team. You will contribute to avionics design, power and sensor interfaces, and bench-to-aircraft testing in a hands-on environment.

You will split time between design work, lab testing and flight-related activities, with support from senior engineers and opportunities for early ownership. Occasional travel to TEKEVER sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree at 2:1 or above in electrical, electronic, mechatronic or systems engineering.
• Understanding of analogue and digital fundamentals, power conversion and common serial and network interfaces.
• Laboratory experience with scopes, multimeters, power supplies and soldering.
• Exposure to sensors, microcontrollers, signal conditioning, or schematic/PCB design in Altium welcome.
• Hands-on engineering: placements, robotics or aircraft projects, student teams or personal builds.
• Security Vetting: eligible for UK SC level Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of avionics subsystems (power, navigation, sensors).
• Produce schematics and board layouts in Altium under review; assist component selection and obsolescence checks.
• Create harness drawings, wiring lists and interface documents for avionics and payloads.
• Support power/load budget work; measure real consumption on bench and aircraft.
• Build and test setups; assist integration, ground and environmental tests; document findings.
• Maintain configuration records, part data and test documentation.
