Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Avionic Technician to join a well-established aviation organisation in Bournemouth. You will perform avionics maintenance, inspections and modifications in compliance with maintenance data and regulatory requirements.

The role offers a permanent contract, a 40-hour week with flexible patterns, a base salary of £42,188 per annum plus a £5,000 shift allowance when on the 5-5-4 pattern, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance principles.
• Experience with pressurised/unpressurised aircraft.
• Good written and spoken technical English.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and data.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance under supervision and carry out servicing and inspections.
• Perform maintenance tasks in line with data and procedures.
• Complete documentation and work sheets accurately and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, tool control and FOD procedures.
• Contribute to SMS culture and operational risk assessments.
