Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Luton, at our client's site near Luton Airport. The role involves warehouse duties within the airport operation, with full training provided and opportunities for progression. You may gain Counterbalance Forklift Truck training as the operation grows.

A DBS check and CTC are required, and 5 years of continuous employment history must be shown. Hours are 7am–1pm or 1pm–11pm, with a rate of £13.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• DBS check and Counter Terrorist Check are required as part of the recruitment process.
• You must be able to provide 5 years of continuous employment history.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily duties in the consolidation centre, ensuring compliance with aviation security procedures and safety standards.
• Receive deliveries from suppliers and perform visual checks for signs of tampering.
• Accurately book in deliveries using the relevant systems.
• Prepare goods for security screening in line with regulations.
• Operate X-ray screening equipment to inspect goods and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Maintain a secure environment by challenging unauthorized access to the Unknown Goods Area when required.
