Job summary

Kingston College is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach Aviation Operations and Travel & Tourism. The role focuses on designing engaging coursework and following schemes of work, with responsibility for assessment, QA and monitoring learner progress.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Travel & Tourism or a related field, and a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. Strong industry connections and experience with A-level/BTEC/NCFE programs are desirable.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree in Travel & Tourism or Aviation, or closely related discipline.
  • Teaching qualification preferred or willingness to obtain qualification.
  • Experience teaching at A-level, BTEC and/or NCFE programmes with industry links.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging coursework assignments aligned with schemes of work.
  • Undertake assessment, internal quality assurance and standardisation per awarding body requirements.
  • Support external quality assurance processes as required.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide planning, preparation and administrative support.
