Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Havant, England, is seeking a Stores Operator to manage warehouse activities, receipts, stock transactions and cycle counts on the ERP system. This onsite role covers kitting, stock transfers and ad-hoc stock requests while maintaining high accuracy and housekeeping in the stores area.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate documentation and collaboration with purchasing and production teams to keep inventories aligned with production needs.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse experience is essential.
• Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a wider team.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Office, Word and Excel).
• Working within a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive all goods delivered to the company.
• Reject items sent back to suppliers.
• Match and transact receipts and rejects against purchase orders on the ERP system.
• Notify purchasing of any discrepancies with deliveries.
• Accurately perform stock transactions and record on the ERP system.
• Kitting Work Orders to live work to list.
• Ad-hoc requests for stock items.
• Transact stock between locations.
• Ensure good housekeeping in the store areas.
• Perform cycle counts and annual stock takes.
• Assist other store employees with their work.
• Participate in all stock taking activities.
