Bournemouth Airport is seeking an Aviation Security Supervisor to oversee day-to-day security operations and allocate resources, ensuring compliance with airline, company and regulatory policies while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

The role requires flexible hours, including weekends, with duties spanning supervising team performance, incident response, maintenance of security equipment, and contributing to safeguarding passenger experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-service based role.
• Experience supervising a busy team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Five years' previous work history with checkable referencing and criminal record/counter-terrorism checks.

Responsabilités

• Actively supervise the security department and aviation security programme in line with policy and procedures.
• Provide timely feedback on performance against standards and company values.
• Assist with appraisals, attendance management, disciplinary and capability processes.
• Ensure security equipment is checked regularly and maintained.
• Manage resources and daily resource planning for an efficient, compliant operation.
• Respond to breaches/incidents and follow reporting timelines.
