Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role (armed services, civil police, or aviation industry ideal).
• Clean full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a 5-year background check and criminal record check.
• Physically fit and colour vision test passed.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Customer service focused, with a calm and professional attitude.
• Willingness to undergo and maintain mandatory aviation training.
• First Aid certification (desirable).
• Manual handling training (desirable).
• Flexible approach to shifts and operational demands (desirable).

Overview

We’re Hiring: Aviation Security Officer

Location: Broughton, Chester CH4

Pay: £14.31 per hour

Hours: Night shifts

Responsibilities

• X-ray screening of cargo, baggage, and goods
• Conducting searches of people, vehicles, and aircraft
• Access control duties at secure site entry points
• Document and ID checks
• Supporting incident response and emergency services
• Escorting VIPs and high-value cargo
• Operating radios and control room systems
• Writing clear reports and logs of incidents

You’ll need to stay alert, think quickly, and maintain professionalism under pressure – identifying suspicious items and following security protocols.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for: We’re seeking someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in a similar role (armed services, civil police, or aviation industry ideal)

• Ability to pass a 5-year background check and criminal record check

• Customer service focused, with a calm and professional attitude
• Willingness to undergo and maintain mandatory aviation training (CSO, NASP, NXCT, Firearms Recognition)
• First Aid certification (desirable)
• Manual handling training (desirable)
• Flexible approach to shifts and operational demands (desirable)
