Job summary

Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is seeking an Aviation Safety Investigator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Important

This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of aviation operations through meticulous investigations of incidents, accidents, and other safety events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct investigations into aviation occurrences, incidents, or accidents
2. Deploy immediately to the aircraft/incident site, which may involve overseas travel
3. Make safety recommendations to reduce the probability of recurrence
4. Monitor aviation incident reporting and propose investigations when necessary
5. Contribute to the development of processes and procedures related to investigations
6. Liaise with stakeholders to address safety-related issues found in the investigation process
7. Manage the Event Review Group (ERG) process
8. Support and promote the Company's Safety Management System (SMS)

Job Requirements:

1. Qualified aviation safety investigator
2. Experience in the aviation industry in safety, flight operations, or engineering roles
3. Experience working with SMS and aviation regulations
4. Experience managing the implementation of new processes and procedures
