Job summary

STS Aviation Services in Manchester, United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Safety Engineer to support the development and improvement of our Safety Management System across the Manchester operation.

You will work with Engineering, Production, Quality and Compliance to capture and analyse safety data, assist investigations and risk assessments, and help maintain safe, compliant operations under EASA and UK CAA Part-145 requirements.

Qualifications

• BSc in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of Part-145 safety or compliance experience.
• Understanding of Safety Management System principles.
• Ability to support safety audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections.
• Assist with safety investigations.
• Produce detailed safety reports.
• Monitor safety performance indicators.
• Promote safety awareness across maintenance operations.
