Summary:Industry Expertise - Aviation Subject Matter Expert
Jacobsen|Daniels is seeking a motivated and self-reliant person with at least 20 years’ experience in planning and preliminary design of aviation/transportation projects including rental car facilities, passenger terminals, ground transportation, rail, bus, parking, and maintenance facilities. The executive will be responsible for providing technical and creative leadership and direction for a range of projects as determined by the Planning Division Leader. This position interfaces independently with the Division Leader, executive level management, and/or client personnel as needed. Hours are expected to be 10-30 hours each week depending on the assigned project.
RequirementsEssential Functions of the Position:
Education and Experience:
Four-year college degree in architecture, civil engineering, aviation management or like, with a minimum of 20 plus years of experience in aviation/transportation projects. Professional or Graduate degree highly desirable.
Licensing/Certifications:
Professional License/Technical Certifications in area of specialization is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Key Measures of Success:
The performance of the executive will be evaluated quarterly and annually by the Division Leader based on the outlined roles and responsibilities developed for the employee.

Working Conditions:
Primarily in a remote office environment. May be required to travel to client sites from time to time.

Position reports to the Division Leader or other executive management as determined during the hiring process or periodic performance review process.
