Job summary

Royal Air Force (RAF) seeks personnel to operate in a purpose-built workshop, manufacturing and repairing aircraft components with precision drilling, milling, and forming equipment. You will work to exacting standards on aircraft parts and collaborate with Aircraft Technicians on removal and fitting methods.

Roles may be stationed anywhere in the UK on an RAF base, with potential overseas service during exercises or operations, reflecting the RAF’s dynamic nationwide and global commitments.

Responsibilities

• Work in a specially-equipped workshop to make and repair components for aircraft, specialist equipment and vehicles
• Use manual and computer-operated machinery like drilling, milling, cutting and forming equipment
• Manufacture or modify aircraft parts to strict standards
• Consult with Aircraft Technicians on the best methods of component removal and fitting
• This role will be located anywhere in the UK on an RAF Station and includes the potential of overseas service during exercises/operations.
