Job summary

Aeroton Avotec Ltd, based in Uddingston, Glasgow, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician for an on-site role at 6 Kilmartin Pl, Uddingston. The successful candidate will repair precision mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, using company tooling, with emphasis on aviation industry standards.

Requirements include 2+ years hands-on mechanical or hydraulic engineering, an HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar, ability to read technical drawings, strong problem

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and related information.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and organise workload to meet changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair precision mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components using company tooling.
• Disassembly, inspection, fault-finding, build and test to aviation industry standards.
• Document work and reporting in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
