Job summary

Aerotron Avotec Ltd is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join its on-site team in Glasgow. You will perform precision repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, disassembling, inspecting, fault-finding, rebuilding and testing with company tooling.

Documentation must meet aviation industry quality standards. The role requires reading technical drawings, strong problem solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on bench-work experience in mechanical or hydraulic engineering (2+ years).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and data sheets.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; ability to plan workload.

Responsibilities

• Repair precision mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Disassemble, inspect, fault-find, rebuild and test using company tooling.
• Document shop findings and ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
