Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures. Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures. Troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems. Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems. Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble. Perform and document routine maintenance. Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies. Aircraft experience: Large turbine helicopters. Small turboprops. Type of industry experience: General aviation. Repair and overhaul facility. Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Aircraft maintenance - general. Security and safety: Bondable. Basic security clearance. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 5 years or more.
