Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) – Artesia, NM

*** $5,000 Annual Location Stipend

Air Methods is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our team in Southeast New Mexico. This role is critical to ensuring the airworthiness and safety of our aircraft, supporting life-saving medical transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, airframe, and powerplant systems, ensuring optimal aircraft performance.
  • Conduct sheet metal and composite repairs, maintaining structural integrity.
  • Utilize electronic and paper-based manuals to navigate technical data efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a flexible schedule, including overtime and on-call rotations.
Requirements:
  • FAA A&P License in good standing required.
  • 2-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience (or equivalent combination of education and training).
  • Experience with FAR 135 operations and factory airframe/powerplant schools preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
