Job Description:

Duration: 12 months

Location: RAF Coningsby Lincoln, BAE Systems

Working Arrangements: 37 hours per week (4-day week, 2-day pattern)

Skilled technician responsible for performing detailed aircraft or component maintenance. They work independently using approved technical data and procedures in line with the organisation’s MOE. They can diagnose faults, follow diagnostic procedures, and support less experienced team members in a dynamic team environment.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Aviation background
  • Completion of Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship/qualification
  • Typically 3+ years of experience including type, fully competent with all required 'Authorities'
  • Demonstrates breadth of systems experience, currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) capturing skills, knowledge, and authorities for working on aircraft or in workshops.
