Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the aviation organisation’s Line and Base maintenance activities from its base in Greater London. You will oversee engineering teams, drive maintenance performance and resource planning, and collaborate with Compliance Monitoring to uphold regulatory standards.

The role requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance in a management or senior leadership capacity, with proven experience across Line and/or Base

Qualifications

• Experience leading aircraft maintenance teams in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to manage Line and Base maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of Part 145, MRO regulations and compliance.
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules with allocated resources.
• Excellent communication with engineers, customers, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Base and Line Maintenance activities and provide operational oversight.
• Manage day-to-day performance of Engineering Department.
• Develop engineers, ensuring competence and capability.
• Support planning of scheduled maintenance with resources.
• Ensure maintenance complies with work specs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee subcontracted maintenance providers when required.
• Attend meetings with Compliance Monitoring and provide performance updates.
• Maintain facilities to regulatory standards and health & safety.
