Job summary
Proactive Global is recruiting a Field Service Engineer / Equipment Engineer in Slough to service, maintain and repair Ground Support Equipment for major UK airports. You will work across workshop and customer sites, performing PPMs, fault finding, and repairs to keep equipment safe and operational in demanding aviation environments.
The role offers a competitive £38,000-£45,000 base salary, overtime, travel allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package including a company vehicle and ongoing
Qualifications
- Experience as Field Service/Equipment/Service Engineer or similar.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on Ground Support Equipment.
- Diagnose faults and undertake reactive repairs to minimise downtime.
- Service, inspect, repair and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, brake and drivetrain systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments on airport support equipment.
- Ensure equipment meets safety and compliance standards.
