Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Visiting Aircraft Support Technician to join our Aviation business, based at RAF Cranwell near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. You will provide aircraft ground handling and engineering support for visiting aircraft, contributing to safe and efficient operations.

In this hands-on, full-time role, you will marshal, park, tow, refuel, and inspect Ground Support Equipment; coordinate with aircrew, RAF operations, and engineering teams; and help ensure regulatory compliance and high

Qualifications

• Relevant aircraft engineering or aviation operations experience.
• Military or civilian aviation handling experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and common software.
• Ability to work safely in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out aircraft ground handling activities including marshalling, parking, towing and dispatch.
• Providing ground power, fuel and oil support as requested by aircrew.
• Conducting pre-use inspections of Ground Support Equipment.
• Completing operational and engineering documentation.
• Working with customers, RAF operations and engineering teams to ensure safe service delivery.
