Job summary

Civil Aviation Authority is seeking an Aircraft Certification Specialist in Avionics & Electrical Systems at Gatwick. You will evaluate certification projects, ensure airworthiness, and coordinate with regulators to uphold UK aviation standards.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of certification in Aircraft and/or Rotorcraft Avionics & Electrical Systems.
• Experience with aviation regulation and certification processes.
• Ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate certification projects and determine compliance with airworthiness requirements.
• Support applications for certification approvals and continued airworthiness.
• Liaise with UK Design Organisations and other regulators as needed.
• Coordinate project certification activities and lead cross-functional teams.
• Represent the CAA in meetings with industry and regulatory bodies.
