Job Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share by maintaining a consumer-focused approach.
They are accountable for achieving this by:
- Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
- Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service, and retail standards
- Adhering to store, Brand, and Company Procedures and guidelines to contribute to efficiencies
- Understanding daily/weekly targets
- Keeping up to date with all sales avenues including eventing, Omni, and digital channels
- Monitoring competitor activities and missed opportunities
- Effectively utilizing social media to drive the business and enhance the Brand image
- Delivering the Brand Strategy and local plans
- Planning and implementing local marketing and events aligned with Retailer activity
- Ensuring excellent service standards, aiming for zero consumer complaints and a culture of surprise and delight
- Acting as a Brand Ambassador, representing and bringing Brand values to life
- Managing refunds and complaints per Company guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when needed
- Using digital tools to stay informed and knowledgeable
- Developing strategies for consumer recruitment and retention to grow a loyal customer base
- Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to deliver industry-leading experiences
- Ensuring operational standards in product presentation, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing are maintained
- Reviewing retail standards daily and ensuring compliance
- Managing deliveries, stock movements, and associated administration within set timeframes
- Completing all auditable processes and taking corrective actions where necessary
- Fulfilling information requests accurately and promptly
- Minimising stock loss by following Security Policies and Procedures
- Creating a safe environment for consumers, adhering to Health & Safety policies, and ensuring audit standards are met
Commerciality
- Managing daily replenishment and taking necessary actions
- Maximising sales by utilizing commercial reports for decision-making
- Planning and executing visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines and timelines
- Addressing stock package issues and informing the Area Manager when out of control
- Managing promotions and discounts in line with guidelines
- Identifying trends and suggesting improvements to product performance
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment
- Ability to drive self-development
- Commercial awareness of the industry
- Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills
